Indians are going to vote tomorrow for a new Lok Sabha. Savitri Era Party is against AAP, BJP, & Congress for different reasons. Unlike 2014 and 2019 no emotionally charged event has vitiated the atmosphere apart from a stray remark incensing the Rajputs. Let's pray for a new PM!

Savitri Era Party doesn't agree with the RSS version of nationalism. It prefers to support the AIT although Sri Aurobindo is on record to be against it. Savitri Era Party also demands Sovereignty to the States on the basis of languages. Abolition of reservations is another plank.

Inveighing against the falsehoods Congress perpetrated was a commendable campaign of Hindutva, but replacing them with another set of doctored narratives has been its most reprehensible act. Following The Mother & Sri Aurobindo can rectify historical and metaphysical distortions.

VIDEO | "Since I have spent most of my life in these two (India and the US) countries, I remain very concerned about the state of democracy in India. I also worry about what happened is US in the last 5-10 years," says Sam Pitroda (@sampitroda), chairman, Indian Overseas Congress.
VIDEO | "There is something strange going in the world. We really don't know what it is and why it is? But world over, people are not happy with the governments. Maybe it has to do with the fact that when the old order organised by the kings and queens broke with revolution with France, Russia and then finally loss of British Raj, people felt that they will have the right to govern their destiny. But it turned out that a new elite emerged. Rich businessmen started controlling politics," says Sam Pitroda (@sampitroda), chairman, Indian Overseas Congress.

VIDEO | Here's what Sam Pitroda (@sampitroda) chairman, Indian Overseas Congress, said when asked about comparisons being done between Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi.
"We really need to understand that everyone has their own style. Leadership is a very complex subject. Leadership is all about a vision, ability to articulate that vision, breaking it up into small pieces of tasks, motivate people, empower people, lead people and ultimately put it together, and it varies from people to people."

Sam Pitroda's book elegantly articulates the essence of democracy as a dynamic concept, likening it to the growth of a child, thriving through openness and the nurturing of diverse opinions. With clarity and insight, @sampitroda illustrates how true democracy isn't about silencing voices but rather empowering individuals to express themselves freely, fostering a culture of dialogue and participation. Through his poignant exploration, he sheds light on the vital importance of allowing ideas to flourish, emphasizing that the true strength of democracy lies in its ability to evolve and adapt to the ever-changing needs and perspectives of society.

People often confuse journalists with messengers..It briefly suited a naive Western culture that for a while had democracies led by an elite that found a deadpan presentation of facts sacred. We now live in a world of crooked minds, gullible masses and twisted narratives.

The best thing about democracy is the way an electoral mandate is interpreted. If someone you don't like gets elected, that person deserves a chance. If he gets re-elected, the opposition failed to make a case. If he gets elected yet again, people are not what you think they are

In any #democracy those who wish to curb free speech use national security, sacredness of offices and old cultures or traditions as soft censorship tools.. But nothing is sacred when there's a need for accountability.
Citizens are the boss, not obedient subjects.

Nationalists tend to confuse the lifestyles, traditions, attitudes & habits of an elite with nationhood. This is because #nationalism has its roots in anti-imperial struggles. But, in a post-colonial, democratic universe, nationalism's rules are different. That unsettles them

Don't believe the muck that #ElectoralBonds were the only way to raise donations to political parties without corruption.. Apart from the fact that these bonds were selectively opaque & dubious nature, there are several ways to ensure anonymous yet legal contributions.

The best thing about a democracy, at least a genuine, functioning one, is that the responsibility shifts from leaders to ordinary people. If they choose to have priorities that keeps them stagnant, it is their choice.

If there's one political lesson to be learnt from the past decade, it is the harsh reality that conventions, traditions and precedents hardly matter in power play. All these are dispensable matters for those who believe that power conquers all.

You can't understand democracy without understanding demographics and how they influence ideas. Allowing any group with totalitarian intent to hold sway for long disrupts free thinking that makes democracy meaningful. More than a multiparty system, we need a diversity of ideas
